SUITE: 224 Mighty Tanaka

PROJECT: Miguel Ovalle will create an installation entitled Stealth Reflections, which deals with the metaphorical masks worn by all individuals on a daily basis. He seeks to reveal the inner psyche of the human condition through a myriad of interpretations and techniques. His charcoal and graphite drawings express a range of emotions, juxtaposed by a second skin that hides their true feelings. This ubiquitous feeling is common for both men and women, creating an enticing view of the nature of human beings. Miguel creates a hybrid between high society and the warrior instinct by camouflaging a mixture of beauty and raw emotion. He will also include a film projection and foam core sculptural installation to coincide with his large drawings.
